Absolutely NOT for desert driving - that voids insurance and will cost you the car if you damage it. Track use depends on rental company policy. Most standard rentals prohibit track use. Octane Rent specifically excludes track and off-road in their Ferrari contracts. Ferraris are for paved roads only - use them on highways, city streets, scenic routes.
